We collect only what is necessary to operate Verdant Logic:

Email address — when you join our waitlist, voluntarily provided by you
Usage data — general, anonymous data about how the Platform is used (e.g. pages visited)
AI chat inputs — questions and messages you submit to our AI tool during your session
Referral source — how you found us (e.g. Reddit, direct) for analytics purposes

We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account information, financial account credentials, government IDs, or any sensitive financial data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To send you updates about Verdant Logic's launch and early access
To improve the Platform and understand how users interact with it
To respond to your inquiries or support requests
To comply with legal obligations

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI Chat Data

Messages you send to the Verdant Logic AI tool are processed by Anthropic's API to generate educational responses. By using the AI chat feature, you acknowledge that your inputs are processed by a third-party AI service. Do not enter sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, full account numbers, passwords) into the chat.

4. Data Storage

Waitlist email addresses are stored securely via Formspree. Financial inputs and AI chat messages are not permanently stored on our servers — they exist only for the duration of your session.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Verdant Logic uses browser localStorage to remember your waitlist signup status within your browser. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Anthropic — AI chat functionality
Formspree — waitlist email collection
Netlify — website hosting
Google Fonts — typography

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

7. Children's Privacy

Verdant Logic is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you
Request deletion of your email from our waitlist at any time
Opt out of communications at any time by emailing us

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist members of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
